Wairarapa accommodation - Gladstone Vineyard - award-winning wine

The Gladstone Vineyard Retreat provides a relaxing and peaceful getaway in self-catering accommodation overlooking the vines.

Set above the old winery, the retreat offers apartment accommodation for two people. The queen-size bed, fully fitted kitchen, woodburner, TV, DVD and CD player provide for a comfortable stay all year round. Double bath, bathrobes, hairdryer and toiletries are also provided. Outside, the large deck overlooking the vineyard gives commanding views to the local hills, an ideal spot to sit and relax over a barbecue dinner with a glass of wine. For the more active, visitors are welcome to walk around the vineyard or by the pond (with resident ducks), or to play petanque on the court by the winery.

Carters Reserve is next door to the Vineyard and has a pleasant short boardwalk through native bush (30-40 minutes).

Great getaway in Gladstone
A lovely relaxing stay in Gladstone vineyard. It was fantastic to wake up in the morning and look out over the vines. Gladstone cafe isn't open in the evenings, and we would highly recommend the 20 min walk down the road to Gladstone pub, great food and wonderful service. Finally, the 'continental breakfast' provided also included a giant plate of eggs, bacon, sausages etc to cook your own full English. Great stuff.

Excellent getaway
Lovely getaway from Wellington for the weekend. We did the full package - 2 nights, tour, tasting, food platter with wine and a bottle of wine. Everyone was friendly, the wine and food were great. They even let us change the white wine for a red wine. The apartment is lovely with a log fire and double bath to keep us warm.

Prices

Friday, Saturday and Sunday NZ$225 (incl GST) for first night, $415 for a two-night weekend stay with late check out.
Includes country breakfast supplies, and a complimentary bottle of wine.

Monday to Thursday NZ$165 per night (excluding public holidays).

Prices are negotiable midweek out of season depending on length of stay. Please contact us for special rates for three nights or more.

Winemakers Weekend SPECIAL

Come and experience a winemakers weekend at the Gladstone Vineyard Retreat. Package includes a wine tasting at cellar door, a winery tour and a tasting platter. Package also includes country breakfast supplies,and a complimentary bottle of wine.
