Sunday 14th September is the Carterton Daffodil Festival.
The Daffodil Express, an historic steam train that brings visitors from Wellington is back again this year. It arrives in Carterton around 10.30 with buses bringing you out to Middlerun to pick the daffodils.
We're just across the road - so come have lunch at the Wine Garden and Café after you've been picking - you can even catch the tractor shuttle down the driveway. No bookings.
